This lovely hand coiled pot is the work of Mary Antonio Garcia, a recognized artist/potter of the Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico. Her art is known for its focus on highlighting the importance of nature within the high desert tribe of what is known as the "Sky City". She hand-coiled and shaped the thin walls of this olla style pot and then free hand painted the traditional design, a stylized flower and leaf pattern with a yucca brush.

The colors are vibrant, and the pot truly stands out. It stands approx. 6 3/4 inches tall and is approx. 7 1/2 inches wide at the widest point of the body. Approx diameter at the lip is 5 7/8 inches and it has a 3-inch diameter base.
