Bisque Porcelain Nesting Hen, Circa Early 1900's, Possible Staffordshire

$225.00
Lovers of Nesting Hen Dishes take a look at this very nice piece.

This lovely nesting hen is not marked, but the style and craftsmanship suggest this is a Staffordshire piece, made in England. These dishes were very popular in the early 1900's. This Hen is in very good condition and would be a wonderful accent to any Farmhouse or Country decor table. It could be used as a butter or condiment dish, candy dish or simply as a wonderful display accent. It is in very good condition. I see no chips, cracks or repairs. There is one very small site at the base of the tail that could be a tiny flake, it is hard to see and the paint is intact, it is possible this is a tiny irregularity that occurred when the piece was cast.

The dish measures approx. 8 inches long, is approx. 6 inches wide and approx. 6 1/4 inches tall. Please refer to photo's for full perspective.

As always, thank you for stopping by the shop and for your interest in this piece. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.
