Black Powder Shot Flask, Stamped "Warrented Solid" London, Contains metal shot, Early to Mid 1800's, Leather

$175.00
Collectors of Antique Militaria, take a look at this very interesting, leather, black powder shot flask. Made in England, this flask has a calibrated measure, brass spout that can be set to 1 oz or 1 1/4 oz. It contains some shot, suggesting that it has been used recently. The leather is solid and relatively supple, there is one small area where the stitching is coming loose. I have tried to show this in the photos. The brass ring to attach a carry strap is still solid. This flask could continue to be used if desired.

The flask is approx. 9 inches in length from the end of the leather body to the tip of the brass spout. The leather body itself is approx. 6 3/4 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. The brass spout is approx. 2 3/8 inches long and works smoothly. Please refer to photos for full perspective.

As always, thank you for stopping by the shop and for your interest in this piece. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have.
