Fenton Milk Glass, Hen on Nest, Circa 1950's

$45.00
This lovely piece would make a beautiful addition to any hen on nest collection. It is not signed but based on the design and quality of the glass, I believe this is a Fenton Glass Company piece. It could be used as a candy dish on an entry room table or coffee table, a condiment dish or an eye-catching display piece to accent farmhouse or country décor.

The base measures approx. 5 1/2 inches long by 4 1/4 inches wide at the lip, the base is approx. 4 inches long by 3 inches wide. The top is approx. 5 inches in long by 3 3/4 inches wide. There are two faint areas of discoloration on the base and a small black spot on the rim of the base. The top has no apparent flaws. This piece was found in a barn at an estate auction, it was literally covered in decades of dirt and grime. It is possible the discoloration and black spot could be cleaned. I used a soft toothbrush and mild soap and water to clean this piece, anymore "aggressive cleaning techniques I would leave to whomever choses to purchase this lovely piece. The milk glass is in good condition, very warm and reflective. The number 6 is stamped inside the top and number 4 stamped inside the base. Please carefully review all photos for full perspective.

As always, thank you for stopping by the shop and for your interest in this piece. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you have.
