This lovely collector's plate comes in its original box with original certificate of authenticity and paperwork, this is the fifth release in a series of 8 collectors plates grouped in the series "Pride of American Indians". The artist, Gregory Perillo painted this piece of artwork in 1985 as is documented in his signature on the face of the plate. The expressive blending of facial expressions on both the child and the wolf are wonderfully captured by this artist. Vague Shadows Artaffects Ltd. transferred this beautiful painting to a limited-edition plate in 1986. Firing was limited to a period of 10 days, making this truly a limited edition. All of this is documented on the certificate of authenticity included in the box. The plate is numbered 1649 E, it is in very good condition with no chip's, cracks or repairs and appears to me to be in as new condition. Please carefully review photos for full perspective.
