Lidded Pot, Hand Painted in a Southwestern Style by Artists: Madeline Landing and Robert Massaro

$187.00
This beautiful piece was made in 1989, by the Florida based artists Madeline Landing Pots and Robert Massaro. The design is done in black, white, sienna and turquoise. The artists inscribe the borders that define the geometric pattern in such a way that the piece appears to be made of tiny inlaid tiles of different colors. The inscribed patterning exists on both the exterior and interior of the lid. The pot is signed by the artist and dated on the foot of the small pedestal style base.
The lid fits flush with the pot and there are no chips, cracks or repairs to the piece. There are some scratches within the paint on the body of the pot, consistent with it age and use. This is a truly stunning and unique pot, and the design draws your eye right to the pot. It would make a wonderful display piece.

It stands approx. 5 3/8 inches tall with the lid in place, the pot by itself stands approx. 5 inches tall. The lip of the pot is approx. 2 1/2 inches internal diameter, and the foot of the small pedestal base is approx. 1 3/4 inches in diameter. The pot is approx. 5 3/4 inches wide at the widest point of the body. Please refer to photos for full perspective.
