Lionel O Gauge 6-8506 PRR Steam Switcher and Tender with Original Box
$135.00
Lionel O Gauge 6-8506 0-4-0 Pennsylvania Switcher Steam Locomotive and Slope back tender with original box. The switcher/engine has been tested and works smoothly, forward and backward and the headlight works. It has operating knuckle couplers, die-cast metal trucks, and metal wheels and axles. The back up light on the slope back tender did not work when tested, and there is a weight inside that was added to keep this fairly light weight tender on the tracks when the engine is pulling a lot of cars.
Except for the functioning of the backup light on the tender, this set remains in very good condition with no missing pieces, scratches or paint loss. The wheels exhibit evidence of very light use. This set was manufactured between 1975 and 1977. The engine is heavy die cast metal, measuring approx. 9 1/4 inches long, 2 3/ inches wide and 3 1/8 inches tall from the base of the wheels to the top of the cab. The body of the tender is made of plastic, it is approx. 7 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall from the base of the wheels to the top of the coal bin. The original box is approx. 22 1/2 inches long, approx. 6 inches wide and approx. 3 1/3 inches deep. Please carefully review photos for full perspective.
