Pipe Bag with Matching Tobacco Pouch, Contemporary Native American Made, Plains Indian Style, Split Suede,

$100.00
The Bead Work on this bag is very nice and it includes a matching small tobacco pouch.
It is likely this set was made for the tourist trade, probably some time in the 1990's, as the leather is split suede not brain tanned deer skin. The seams are also machine sewn not hand stitched. The pipe bag itself does not have a cord or other means of closure. It measures approx. 33 1/2 inches long and is approx. 6 1/2 inches wide. The tobacco pouch is approx. 13 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide. The tobacco pouch has a rawhide thong threaded through the top and can be pulled closed. The suede on both pieces is soft and the design on both is exactly the same. This would make a lovely wall hanging to accent Southwestern decor.
